Your NFTs,

The toolkit

Three primitives, one on-chain dashboard

Everything Nova does is executed by smart contracts you can inspect — no backend, no order book, no hidden spreads.

Lending

List an NFT as collateral and borrow against it in a single transaction — approvals are handled for you. Or fund someone else’s loan and earn interest on every repayment.

Leasing

Rent out a collectible for a daily fee, or lease one for as long as you need it — short-term access without ever giving up ownership.

NFT minting

Mint ERC-721 tokens straight through the ink! contract interface. No marketplace account, no gas guesswork.

Wallet connect

One click through the Polkadot.js extension. Switch between authorised accounts without reconnecting, and never hand over a private key.

Portfolio analytics

Supplied, borrowed and earned positions are computed from real contract state — not cached numbers.

Live on-chain data

Balances, loans and leases stream in over WebSocket and refresh every couple of seconds, so the numbers you act on are the numbers on chain.

How it works

From zero to an on-chain position in three steps

No seed phrases, no approvals maze, no off-platform waiting.

  1. Connect

Authorise Nova in the Polkadot.js extension. Your accounts, free balance and ERC-20 balance show up immediately.

  2. Pick your asset

Mint a fresh ERC-721 through the ink! interface, or bring an NFT you already own and approve it as collateral.

  3. Lend, lease or mint

Borrow against it, fund someone else’s loan, or list a daily rental. Every action is a signed contract call.

Under the hood

Four ink! contracts you can read end to end

Nova holds no keys and no balances. Each primitive maps one-to-one onto a contract whose ABI ships with the app.

FAQ

The short answers

Everything else lives in the dashboard, where the contract state is right in front of you.

Is Nova custodial?

No. Your keys never leave the Polkadot.js extension — Nova asks the extension to sign each transaction and nothing else. Collateral, loans and leases live in the contracts, so there is no Nova account to lose access to.

What do I need to get started?

The Polkadot.js browser extension and an account with enough balance for gas. Nova connects to a Substrate node over WebSocket; there is no backend, no API key and no account to create.

What can I borrow against?

Any ERC-721 minted through the app’s contract interface. LendingManager escrows the collateral, tracks the outstanding position and accrues interest as the loan is repaid.

What happens when the node is unreachable?

The wallet connection still works and your balances stay readable from the extension. On-chain features stay disabled until the node responds, and the dashboard tells you the node is down instead of failing silently.
